The Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers ( PIIE) is a professional society devoted to :

• serving the needs of industrial and systems engineering professionals and institutions who value the industrial engineering practice.
  
• provide a venue where members will have the opportunity to enhance and strengthen their industrial engineering capabilities and expertise
  
• provide venue to crystallize business linkages among members and colleagues from industry and the academe.

Founded in April 1998, PIIE is a non-stock, non-profit, professional society dedicated to advancing the technical and managerial excellence of industrial engineers. Within the year of its inception, membership consisted of 63 individual members, 19 institutional members and 12 student chapters including universities from Legaspi City, Angeles City, Olongapo City and San Fernando, Pampanga.

The PIIE envisions to be the recognized national organization and the focal point of all industrial engineering agenda concerning the academe and the industry
