The
Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) and the
Philippine Chamber of Industrial Estates (PCIE) jointly sponsored
the three month APO (Asian Productivity Office) Study grant
in Japan of Ms. Jovena Andrea Vendivil , an Industrial Engineering
Faculty of the Mapua Institute of Technology, During the time
that she will be spending in the foreign-funded scholarship,
she will be given extensive training in the latest trends
in IE. This will also expose her to the current Best practices
in the Japanese work place. In the future, she will be using
her experiences as the basis for her workshop which will be
integrated in our Lecture Series. She is shown in the picture
between the Presidents of the two Organizations, Mr. Rodel
Adiviso (PCIE) and Mr. Elpidio Carlota (PIIE) along with the
PIIE Trustees.
