On
the occasion of the 20th PIIE General Membership December
04, 2002, Mr. Ricardo H. Dujua - President of Solution
77, Inc. gave a talk on the "Success Stories on Call
Centers". Mr. Dujua was one of the pioneers of the Call
Center Industry, a business which has been cited as one
of the sunrise industries in which the Philippines can excel.
He outlined the elements that formed the foundations of
the successes which were achieved. He also mentioned about
threats which need to be addressed and the ways in which
Industrial Engineers can contribute to further grow the
Industry. The occasion also marked the Christmas party of
the PIIE and the festivities were marked with the traditional
gift-giving and games.
