Holy Angel University in Angeles City hosted the formation of the third PIIE chapter which is slated in Pampanga last August 23, 2003. A seminar on Cleaner Production and a forum on IE Certification had been scheduled on the same day. Industrial engineers and practitioners from the private and government sectors of industry and the academe had been invited. These activities are among the projects of the Industrial Engineering Department of the university in line with the designation of its IE program as Center of Development by the Commission on Higher Education.
