PIIE
is a non-stock, non-profit professional organization founded
in 1998, which is devoted to serving the needs of industrial
and systems engineering practitioners and institutions such
as yours. With the battle cry of OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
in the industry and academe, it envisions to be the recognized
national organization and the focal point of all industrial
engineering agenda.
PIIE
is cognizant of the versatility of the IE practice in both
frontline and support operations of companies and is actively
in search of companies as institutional members and IE practitioners
as individual members. PIIE enjoins all to share the common
vision of contributing to enhance the country's competitiveness.
PIIE creates dynamic venues to crystallize business linkages
among its roster of respected institutional and individual
members, as well as strategic partnerships with related
organizations (e.g., UN Environment Programme, Asia-Pacific
Industrial Engineering & Management Society, Chinese Institute
of Industrial Engineers, Department of Environment & Natural
Resources, Asia-Online, Jobstreet, Philippine Rubber Industry
Association). These venues enable it to collectively promote
the disciplines of quality, cost-effectiveness, systems
thinking, logistics competence and value supremacy.
Fellow
IE practitioners are encouraged to learn more on how they
can enhance and share their IE capabilities and expertise
from the membership brochure. They may register for membership
online or by submitting the faxback form to the PIIE Secretariat.
