CALL FOR ABSTRACT
AIM AND SCOPE
The objective of the conference is to champion Industrial Engineering research capability in the Philippines and in the Asian region through capacity building in a conference and in a journal publication.
TARGET PARTICIPANTS
PIIE/APIEMS members and non-members who have interests in researches in the various Industrial Engineering fields are invited to join. Educational and industrial research institutions are also encouraged to participate as presenters.
CALL FOR PAPERS
Topics in industrial engineering include, but not limited to, the following:

PAPER PRESENTATION
Each paper presentation is allotted 30 minutes. Presentation is allotted a maximum of 20 minutes and the open forum is 10 minutes.
VENUE
The research conference will be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Makati City, Philippines.
PUBLICATION
All abstracts of the papers will be printed in a souvenir program. Selected papers will be published in the PIIE Journal.

3rd Industrial Engineering Certification Examination held on
November 20, 2011
The Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) through the Industrial Engineering Certification Board (IECB) administered the 3rd Industrial Engineering Certification Examination last November 20, 2011 at the College of Engineering Auditorium, Melchor Hall, University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. There were 97 examinees who took the national CIE examination and 52 examinees successfully passed. This figure represents a national passing rate of 53.60%. The top ten and the complete list of successful examinees are given below.
